  • Page 3  switch is used.  Use the dials on the underside  of the Super Interactive Switch Box:  With the left hand dial set to COLOURS and the right hand one to FLASH ON, then the lights  ®   will come on when the ROMPA  switch is activated.  With the left hand dial set to COLOURS and the right hand one to FLASH OFF, then the   ®   lights will be on all of the time and the lights will stop when the ROMPA  switch is activated.  With the left hand dial set to COLOURS and the right hand one to HOLD, then the lights will  ® ®   start  when  the  ROMPA   switch  is  activated  and  will  stop  when  the  ROMPA   switch  is    activated again.    ® All Wi Fi controllers suitable for use with a ROMPA  Wi Fi Bubble Tube (e.g. Talking Cube, Colour  Changing Panel, Wi Fi Microphone etc) can be used remotely with this product.   ...

Installation    I. Place on a flat, stable floor that is capable of holding the weight of this product.  II. Connect the multi‐coloured wires from the bottom of the tube to the circuit board – see  image below ‐ the lead with a 4‐way connector coming from the tube should be pulled  through the hole in the base of the tube prior to mounting the tube onto the chassis and  connected to ‘CONN3 RGB+’ on the PCB marked ‘SA494’.  This connector is on the front edge  of the left hand PCB when viewed from the accessible end of the metal tray carrying the 3 ...

There are two screw holes on each side of the Power Supply should you wish to wall mount  the unit, or secure it to the floor.  Note: please wall mount in a well ventilated area. No  fixings are supplied as these depend on the surface the unit will be attached to.  The Power  Supply box weighs 1.3kg.                              Please note: image above shows a 110V plug – the plug supplied with be appropriate to the country of  the customer      V. If using a cushioned platform (not included), fit the cushioned platform over the Light  Diffraction Totem, making sure the Power Supply is not trapped (there will be a small  triangular cut‐out in one side of the cushioned platform for this purpose.  VII. Plug the other end of the Power Supply in at the wall.  VIII. Switch on at the wall. The green LED light will be lit. There may be a slight delay.      Power  LED  Dust Protector Cover              in socket J  IV. The unit will begin to flash, displaying a sequence of coloured lights.  Turn the wheel (I)    on the base to adjust the speed of the light change.  The Light Diffraction Totem is most      effective in a darkened environment.     14. Care and Maintenance    • The Light Diffraction Totem is suitable for use on a level horizontal floor.    • Always supervise the use of this product.    When you need to switch the Totem OFF after use, or before maintenance please note that:  • There is no ON/OFF switch on the Totem itself, or on the power supply shown below.   • Power should be disconnected by removing the mains plug from the wall socket.  Do not  disconnect the jack plug of the power supply from the round AC socket at the base of the  Totem.  Repeatedly disconnecting the jack plug from this round socket is likely to lead to  damage to the Totem, and should also be avoided for safety reasons.                                                   ...

  • Page 11 UTILISATION DU CONTACTEUR POUR COLONNE A BULLES 17274    (à acheter séparément)                        Débranchez le Totem.  Enlevez le petit tampon noir (à droite) – mettez‐ le dans un lieu sûr pour ne pas le perdre.  Pour l’enlever, glissez votre  ongle au‐dessous du côté droite du tampon et le tirez doucement.   Attachez votre contacteur 17274 à la base du Totem.        • Pour sélectionner une couleur, appuyez sur un des quatre boutons (rouge, vert, jaune, bleu)  au dessus.   • Le bouton orange au centre ne fonctionnera pas avec le Totem parce que le Totem n’a pas de  bulles.   • Pour régler la vitesse du changement des couleurs, servez‐vous des cadrans SPEED et DELAY  au‐dessous (l’étiquette COLOURS).    ON PEUT ATTACHER UN CONTACTEUR À CE CONTACTEUR À 5 BOUTONS – Quand un contacteur  est attaché à la prise jack femelle sur le bord du Contacteur à 5 Boutons, ce nouveau contacteur  annule les capacités du Contacteur à 5 Boutons i.e.  boutons, couleurs etc.               ...

Installation    I. Mettez le Totem sur une surface plate, stable et capable de tenir le poids de ce produit.  II. Attachez les fils multi‐colorés du dessous de la colonne à la plaquette – voir l’image au‐ dessous – tirez le fil avec la prise à 4 fiches (de la colonne) à travers le trou dans la base avant  d’attacher la colonne à la base.  Attachez ce fil avec la prise à 4 fiches à ‘CONN3 RGB+’ sur la  plaquette ‘SA494’.  Cette attache se trouve sur le bord devant de la plaquette gauche quand  on la regarde du supporte en métal qui tient les 3 plaquettes.  ...
  • Page 13 III. Attachez la colonne au châssis en vous servant des quatre boulons fournis (il y en a un dans   chaque coin).    IV. Il ya deux trous sur chaque côté de la Boîte d’alimentation, si vous avez envie de l’attacher au  mur ou sol.  Notez: si vous l’attachez au mur, positionnez‐le dans un lieu bien ventilé.  Les  fixations ne sont pas compris car elles dépendent la construction de votre surface.  La boîte  d’alimentation pèse 1,3 kilos.                              Prière de noter : la boîte dans l’image au‐dessus est 110V – la boîte fournie conviendra au pays du client      V. Introduisez la boîte d’alimentation dans le Totem en vous servant de la prise ronde fournie.  ...

    VI. Si vous vous servez d’une plateforme rembourrée, mettez‐le par‐dessus le Totem –   ne pas  coincer la boîte d’alimentation (nous avons coupé un petit triangle dans un côté de la  plateforme rembourrée pour les fils).  VII. Branchez l’autre bout de la boîte d’alimentation.  VIII. La lumière verte s’allume.  Il y aura un bref délai.    Alimentation LED  Tampon dans prise J IX. Les lumières clignoteront, et la couleur changera.   Tournez le cadran (I) sur la base pour    ajuster la vitesse du changement des couleurs.  L’effet est encore plus visuel dans le noir.        Prière de noter:        La prise J est pour le Contacteur à 5 Boutons 17274LED seulement.  Ne pas attacher    quelque chose d’autre.  Sinon, on risque endommager le Totem.        Vérifiez que les parties électroniques restent sèches.    14.
