MAINTENANCE
To remove accumulated carbon, clean the spark arrestor at the intervals
recommended in the Periodic Maintenance Chart.
1. Remove the bolt
arrestor from the end of the muffler.
2. Use a non-synthetic brush to clean the arrestor screen. A synthetic brush
may melt if components are warm. If necessary, blow debris from the screen
with compressed air.
3. Inspect the screen for wear and damage. Replace the arrestor if damage is
found.
4. Reinstall the arrestor.
5. Torque the bolt and nut to specification.
BRAKES
The front and rear brakes are hydraulic disc type brakes. Press down on the
brake pedal to engage the brakes.
BRAKE FLUID
Inspect the brake system routinely. Inspect the level of the brake fluid before
each operation.
