    Our Loader is composed primarily with a mast, a lifting extending boom, and a grapple. These units are all installed on an Anderson R-Flex 410 tandem trailer. This trailer has a width of 64 inches (1.65m) and a structutural extendable length of 11 feet 6 inches (3.50m). This trailer can handle wooden logs up to 12 feet in length (3.66m).

    2  Loader M-115 General Characteristics (continues). 2.1  Basic Components (continued) : Bolt Moving the standard (non hydraulic) tandem axle: When the loader is empty you can manually move forward or backward the tandem axle by 4 inches (10.16cm) by taking out the bolt that connects it to the central beam. Once you move the axle you will need to put the bolt back in place.

    The best operator is a CAREFUL operator !!!!! 3.1  Your Anderson loader has been designed to be very safe to operate. However it should not be used for any other operations than the ones it has been designed for. This loader includes metallic moving parts, a powerful hydraulic system and probably a gasoline motor.
  • Page 14 Precautions Safety  (continues) ATTENTION !  All hydraulic fluid that comes in contact or infiltrates the skin must be treated by a doctor who is familiar with this kind of injury within the hours that follow the accident. If the injury is neglected it may cause serious health problems and could possibly lead to gangrene.

    Maintenance and Troubleshooting  4.1  Before each Use : It is very important to check the unit’s hydraulic oil level because a pump that misses oil will quickly break (in less than a minute of operation). Maintain a minimum oil level of 3 inches (7.5cm) below the hydraulic oil cap.

If you have a hydraulic tandem, examine the central beam on which the train slides to see if it also need lubrication or to be greased manually.
