IMPORTANT NOTICE NOT INCLUDED IN THE CONTENT OF THIS MANUAL! Minimum weight per bale: 250 kg (550 lb). Maximum forward speed in field while grabbing and loading bale on trailer: 10 km/h (6.2 mph). Never release bale over trailer scissor lift receiver if they are not completely pulled up. Instead to conform to this practice, hydraulic and structural scissor lift integrity will fail. Labels on trailer chassis are reminders. Never lift any other material than bales with the loading arm. Never use loading arm as an additional space to carry bales while trailer is empty, partially loaded or loaded. ...

1 Introduction Congratulations! You have just acquired an Anderson self-loading bale carrier, a quality machine designed specifically for handling large square bales. 1.1 General Presentation The following figure shows the TSR-3450 carrier’s primary components. Anderson Group Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 – Operator's Manual...

2 Safety Measures Your Anderson self-loading bale carrier has been designed so as to minimize hazards for operators. Nevertheless, you should never use it for any purpose other than that for which it was designed. Using the bale carrier incorrectly may injure the operator.
Block the wheels with chocks if you want to work under the machine. Block the unloading platform cylinders with the safety stands provided for this purpose (see Sectionsection 6 Maintenance). Operator's Manual – Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 Anderson Group...
The bale carrier’s standard tires are generally not prescribed for long distances on public roads. Road tires may be installed as an option on the TSR-3450 bale carrier. It is important to attach the loading arm in the up position to prevent it from moving while traveling.

The recommended oil flow rate in order to effectively use the TSR-3450 bale carrier is 30 to 58 l/min. (8 to 15 gallons per minute). 2. Check that the hoses are placed between the tractor and the bale carrier so as to avoid twist- ing them, catching them, and wearing them out prematurely during manoeuvres.

The distance between the grabber arms may be modified to handle bales 80 cm or 120 cm (32 in or 48 in) wide. Two grabber widths are possible and depend on the holes in which the pins (A) are inser- ted (see Figure 8 – Grabber Width). Anderson Group Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 – Operator's Manual...
