of the image information
may not be saved.

Capturing an image
To quickly handle and process camera images on your
PC, save the selected camera images as standard file
format including BMP, TIFF or JPEG with or without
opening them.
Selecting the file type
BMP
The bitmap format supported generally by Windows.
The file extension is ".bmp."
TIFF
Stands for Tagged Image File Format, which is
widely used to store a bitmap image of various
resolutions. The file extension is ".tif."
JPEG
Stands for the group named "Joint Photographic
Experts Group," who standardized the compression
system of the still image. The image is compressed in
a small data size, but the original image cannot be
perfectly reproduced. The file extension is ".jpg."

Opening and saving the camera images

Follow the steps 1 through 3 of "Opening the
camera images" (page 31) to display the image list
of the camera.
