BEFORE FIRST USE

• Remove all packing material and stickers from the product and save instruction manual.
Caution: Tear up all plastic bags as they can pose a risk to children.
• Cut and remove tie wrap located between the electric plug blades.
• Wipe the interior and exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
Caution: Do not immerse the appliance in water or any liquid.
HOW TO USE YOUR TORTILLA & ROTI MAKER
When the appliance is operating for the first time, there may be a slight burning odor, as the heating
elements warm up. This represents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the appliance.
Allow the appliance to heat up until the odor clears.
To Cook Tortillas & Wraps
• Make the desired amount of balls of dough, about 1 to 2 inches in diameter.
• Place appliance on a flat stable surface.
Caution: Because some countertop finishes are more sensitive than others, use care not to place the
appliance on surfaces where heat may cause damage.
• Plug into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet.
• The red light indicator "POWER" will come on indicating that the unit is heating.
• Lift handle and raise the top cooking plate using the thumb press and lifting handle.
Note: Do not leave the appliance in closed position while preheating.
• Set the temperature desired by turning the temperature control dial and align it with the mark located
below the indicator lights " ".
Note: Medium to high heat is recommended for tortillas.
• The green light indicator "READY" will come on. When light goes off, the chosen cooking temperature
has been reached. During cooking, the light will blink on and off indicating the temperature is being
maintained.
• Place the ball of dough on the bottom cooking plate slightly off center, towards the hinge.
• Close the top cooking plate and apply pressure on the thumb press and lifting handle.
• Press the handle down quickly and gently for 2 to 3 seconds.
