Step 3.
Remove four screws and then remove the left I/O bracket.

Remove the I/O board bracket (right)

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the Lenovo Smart Pen" on page 28
"Remove the lower case" on page 28
Step 1.
Disconnect the battery pack cable from the system board.
Attention: Use your fingernails to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.
Step 2.
Remove two screws and then open the hinge.
