from hot surfaces. Do not pinch the cord
in doors and do not pull it over sharp
edges and corners. Keep the power cord
far away from the walking area and make
sure that nobody trips. Do not walk over
the cord.
10. Do not disconnect the device from the
power outlet by pulling strongly on the
power cord. Hold the plug, not the cord,
to unplug the power plug. The use of an
extension cord is not permitted.
11. Do not use the device to vacuum up water.
12. Do not use the device to vacuum up flam-
mable or explosive gases (such as gaso-
line) and do not use the device in places
where flammable liquids or vapors may be
present.
13. Do not use the device to vacuum up bur-
ning or smoking objects such as cigaret-
tes, matches or hot ashes.
14. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other
body parts away from openings or moving
parts of the device. Do not point suction
tubes or nozzles in the direction of eyes
and ears. Do not put any suction elements
in your mouth.
15. Do not insert any objects into openings
of the device and do not use the device
if they are blocked. Remove dust, cotton
fibers, hair or other objects that obstruct
the airflow.
16. Use only the accessories and replacement
products recommended for the device.
17. Do not use the device without installing
the collection container and the filter.
18. Disconnect the device from the power
supply, pull out the power plug and remo-
ve the battery before carrying out repair,
cleaning and maintenance work.
19. Be especially careful when using the de-
vice to clean stairs.
20. Do not install, charge or use the device
outdoors or within a radius of 3 meters
from wet rooms and swimming pools. Do
not use the device on wet surfaces and do
not bring it into contact with moisture, rain
or snow.
21. Only use the supplied power supply,
charger and battery. Other batteries may
explode or cause injury and product da-
mage.
22. FIRE HAZARD: Never use the device on or
near a kitchen stove or other hot surfaces.
Do not burn the device, even if it is sever-
ely damaged, since the battery may cause
a fire or explosion.
23. Switch off the device before connecting or
removing the electric brush.
24. FIRE HAZARD: Do not apply perfumed
substances to or on the filter of the device.
The chemical substances contained the-
rein are known to be highly flammable and
may cause the device to catch fire.
