Controls the ARIB transmission function.
OFF: ARIB data transmission is disabled.
ON: ARIB data transmission is enabled.
Notes
• If Format is set to 1080i/50, the button is dimmed and cannot be
selected.
• If UMID is set on the ARIB line, the ARIB menu cannot be set.
Tx UMID
Designates the line number for UMID data transmission.
OFF: The UMID transmission is not performed.
Line 9 to Line 20: Designates the line number for UMID data
transmission.
Adjustable range: Line 9 to Line 20 (If ARIB is set to ON, Line
19 and Line 20 cannot be selected.)
Factory setting: Line 17
Note
Line selection is set for each video format.
Rx UMID
Designates the line number for UMID data reception.
Line 9 to Line 22: Designates the line number for UMID data
reception.
Adjustable range: Line 12 to Line 20 for NTSC, Line 9 to Line 22
for PAL (If ARIB is set to ON, Line 18 and Line 19 cannot be
selected.)
Factory setting: Line 17

Color Bar 100%: A 100% color bar signal
Color Bar 75%: A 75% color bar signal
V Color Bar 100%: A 100% vertical color bar signal

Ramp: A ramp signal
Ramp with Chroma: A ramp signal with color
10 Step: A ten-step signal
5 Step: A five-step signal
Cross Hatch: A cross hatch signal
Dot: A dot signal
Box1: A box 1 signal
Box2: A box 2 signal
V Ramp: A vertical ramp signal
V Ramp with Chroma: A vertical ramp signal with color
100% White: A 100% white signal
