For drier air, or when drying clothes, use the DOWN button to select a lower humidity level (for example 35-45%).
CLOTHING DRYING MODE: When drying clothes, it is advisable to run the dehumidifier continuously with maximum
water extraction until the water tank is full. Set the appliance to
ECO mode and set the desired humidity level between 35% and 50%. A humidity level of 35% is very dry and not
easily achievable in a domestic environment. Therefore, the appliance will run until the water tank is full when set to
35%. Do not place clothes directly on the dehumidifier. Make sure that nothing blocks the hot air flow and for best
results, place clothes within 1.5 metres of the dehumidifier.
NOTES:
If a permanent drain hose is installed, the appliance will not stop working. The desired humidity setting of
about 35% is good for laundry mode, for quick drying or in an emergency. It is not recommended for
normal long term operation in a home or office environment.
To allow more humidity in the air, press the increase button and set a higher humidity level.
We recommend setting the humidity to 50-55%. This value is ideal for domestic operation and dry storage.
The 60% humidity setting is ideal for personal comfort and applications where 50% relative humidity is
considered too dry.
The 70% humidity setting is ideal for unoccupied properties or where ECO operation is required without
the need to further reduce humidity.

OTHER FEATURES

FULL TANK INDICATORS
When the water tank is full, removed or incorrectly inserted, the unit stops dehumidifying, the
red tank full indicator lights up and the unit beeps. Empty the tank and reinsert it correctly to
resume operation.
AUTO DEFROST
When frost accumulates on the evaporator coils, the compressor stops and the unit goes into
defrost mode. When the defrost mode is completed, the unit returns to the previous
operating parameters.
When the appliance is operating in a room temperature between 5°C and 12°C, it switches
to defrosting mode approximately every 30 minutes.
When the appliance is operating in a room temperature between 12°C and 20°C, it
switches to defrost mode approximately every 45 minutes.
HUMIDISTAT CONTROL AND FAN/COMPRESSOR OPERATION
When the humidity in the room is 2% lower than the desired humidity, the compressor
automatically stops, but the fan continues to run to prevent the air in the room from
becoming stale. The unit consumes only a minimal amount of energy in fan mode.
When the humidity in the room is equal to or higher than the desired humidity, the
compressor will restart after a 3-minute delay to protect it.
AUTOMATIC RESTART (on some models)
If the appliance stops unexpectedly due to a power failure, it will automatically restart with the
previous function selected when the power returns and the 3-minute compressor protection
has elapsed.
POWER SUPPLY
After the unit has been switched off, to protect the compressor, it is not recommended to
resume operation for at least 10 minutes. Operation can be resumed after this period has
elapsed. When the unit is restarted, there is a 3 minute delay before the compressor starts.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND PORTABLE DESIGN ON WHEELS
The dehumidifier is built to be compact and lightweight. The wheels at the bottom of the unit
make it easy to move from room to room.
Your dehumidifier contains an advanced micro-CPU controlled device that is capable of self-
diagnosis. The LCD screen can also display error and protection codes.
USE
- Before each use, completely unwind the electrical cable from the appliance.
-
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch is not functioning.
-
- Do not move the appliance during operation.
-
- Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before carrying
-
out any cleaning operation.
- Keep this appliance out of the reach of children or persons with reduced
-
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
Allow at least 20 cm of space around the unit. This dehumidifier
is designed for indoor residential or small office applications
only and any commercial or industrial use will void the
warranty.
Use the unit in an enclosed area for maximum efficiency. Close
all doors and windows to create an efficient operating
environment. Do not use outdoors.
The dehumidifier should be placed in a central, unobstructed location so that it can draw humid
air from the whole house towards it. A hallway or landing is an excellent place for your
dehumidifier. If possible, leave the interior doors open.
Please note that the unit should not be placed directly against a radiator or other heat source.
When positioning your dehumidifier, make sure that it is placed away from any obstacles that
could restrict air movement. Place the dehumidifier on a flat, dry surface.
Note: Do not force the wheels to move over a carpet or uneven surface, and do not move the
appliance with water in the tank, as it may tip over and spill water.
