Troubleshooting
Problem
Battery will not
charge.
TidalForce M-750 High Performance Electric Bicycle Owner's Manual
Possible Cause
Battery power is
turned on at
dashboard.
Faulty power
source or
connections.
Battery is
overheated.
Charging rate is
incorrect.
Charger or battery
has malfunctioned.
Remedy
Turn off battery power at dashboard.
1.
Verify that LED on charger is lit
(indicating power is supplied to the
charger).
2.
Verify charger is correctly connected to
charging plug.
3.
Verify power connectors at front of
bicycle are connected.
If LED on charger is red (indicating that the
battery is too hot), unplug charger from
electrical outlet and let the battery cool for
several hours before charging.
NOTE: An overheated battery that
remains connected to the charger will
automatically resume charging when the
battery temperature returns to a safe
range.
If LED on charger is green (indicating normal
charging), verify that the number of
state-of-charge LEDs that are flashing on the
dashboard reflects the current power capacity of
the battery. For instance, if the power capacity
of the battery is indicated by three LEDs without
the battery charger connected, three LEDs
should flash slowly when the charger is initially
plugged in. If not, contact WaveCrest for
service support.
