OPERATING INSTRUCTION STARTING/STOPPING THE TRIMMER Before you start the unit, make sure the trimmer is not contacting any object. CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS Basic cutting procedure Wear non-slip gloves for maximum grip and protection. For the best cutting action against walls, fences and in high grass, move trimmer slowly so grass is cut WITH THE TIP of the high speed nylon line. Avoid running trimmer with hub in contact with ground.

Advancing the line manually Disconnect the string trimmer from the power supply, then push the spool retainer button in while pulling on trimmer line to manually advance. REPLACING SPOOL / CLEARING JAMS AND TANGLED LINES Unplug the string trimmer. Push in tabs on side of spool retainer.
