OPERATING INSTRUCTION STARTING/STOPPING THE TRIMMER Before you start the unit, make sure the trimmer is not contacting any object. Attach the outlet end of an extension cord to the plug on the rear of the string trimmer. NOTE: Use only approved outdoor extension cords. Route the extension cord through the slot located on the rear of the string trimmer housing and place ... - Page 13 CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS Basic cutting procedure Wear non-slip gloves for maximum grip and protection. For the best cutting action against walls, fences and in high grass, move trimmer slowly so grass is cut WITH THE TIP of the high speed nylon line.
