To switch from trimming to edging, you pull the edger function switch backward (K) on the tool, and firmly holding the front handle (C) in other one hand and turn the tube to the left according to your need.

FITTING AND REPLACING LINE SPOOL ASSEMBLY WARNING: Disconnect appliance from power supply before performing adjustments. Only fit line spool recommended by the manufacturer. The line spool is already fit with the string trimmer when out of package. You need to replace it with new line when it’s used up.

CLEANING THE SPOOL HEAD Stop the motor and disconnect appliance from power supply. Clean dirt and debris from the spool head using a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
