Quick Links

1. Choose appropriate type of Negative Film Holder/Adapter to
match your film size and place film into the holder/adapter. Insert a
SD memory card into the card slot (Optional).
2. Connect power to your MDFC1400 scanner via UBS cable and
power AC adapter. Press Power button to turn on power.
3. Press "Left/Mirror" or "Right/Flip" until "Language" appears on
the screen. Press "OK/Entre" to enter language submenu, press
"Left/Mirror" or "Right/Flip" to choose your preferred language.
Press "OK/Entre" to confirm your choice.
4. Press "Left/Mirror" or "Right/Flip" until "Film" appears on the
screen. Press "OK/Entre" to enter film type selection submenu,
press "Left/Mirror" or "Right/Flip" to choose your film type to be
scanned. Press "OK/Entre" to confirm.
5. Press "Left/Mirror" or "Right/Flip" until "Resolution" appears on
the screen. Choose your preferred image resolution. Note that
Super 8 film type's supported resolution is 6M, and 126KPK film
type scanning resolution is 16M. Press "OK/Entre" to confirm.
6. In the main menu, select "Capture" or press "OK/Enter" button.
Feed loaded film holder/adapter into the holder slot of the
scanner, if necessary, slightly move the holder to adjust its
position so that the film appears in the centre of the scanner
screen.
