Operate the scanner
with a SD Card
1. Insert a SD memory card into
the scanner's memory card slot.

How to know when the scanner is connected to the computer
To check if the QPIX CBS1400 scanner is connected to the computer:
1. Make sure the USB cable is properly connected to the computer's USB port, preferably one on the motherboard (not the front panel).
2. Turn on the scanner's power.
3. Enter USB mode by pressing the LEFT/RIGHT button to select "USB MSDC" and press ENTER to confirm.
4. The scanner should appear as a mass storage device on the computer.
If the device is connected properly, it will show up as a drive on the computer.
