Monitor display
Problem
The image of the subject is
displayed in black and white (or
bluish-purple).
The background appears
greenish.
Even when a door station
equipped with LED lights is used,
images at night are dark and
faces cannot be identified.
The image of a person's face is
dark.
The image is not clear or is
blurry.
The image is white or black.
The image is white, or white
lines or circles are shown on the
display.
Cause & Solution
L A t night or when there is poor light in the area around the door
station, the image of the subject may be displayed in black and
white (or bluish-purple).
– When using a door station equipped with LED lights
The door station's LED lights may be turned off.
Turn on the LED lights when it is dark.
– When using a door station not equipped with LED lights
We recommend installing extra lights in the area around the
door station.
L A t night or when there is poor light in the area around the
door station, lights or white objects near the door station may
appear greenish. This is not a malfunction.
L [ AUTOMATIC ILLUMINATION] is set to [DISABLE].
– Change the setting to [ENABLE].
L E ven when the door station's LED lights are lit, because the
light from the LED lights cannot illuminate the edges of the
visible area (the areas directly next to the door station), faces
of people may not be identifiable even when they are close to
the door station.
– We recommend installing extra lights in the area around the
door station.
L W hen the door station is installed in a location where there is
backlight, images of visitor's faces may appear dark, making it
difficult to identify people.
– When using door stations that have a backlight
compensation function
Use the backlight compensation function.
–  W hen using door stations that do not have a backlight
compensation function
Install the door station in a location where there is no
backlight.
L T he surface or the lens of the door station is dirty. Clean it with
a soft dry cloth.
L T he surface or the lens of the door station is wet with dew. Wait
for the condensation to evaporate.
L T he brightness of the display is not properly adjusted. Adjust
the brightness while receiving a call, during a conversation, or
while monitoring.
L S trong light such as sunlight is shining into the lens of the door
station. Though this may cause the display image to become
difficult to see, this is not a malfunction.
– Locate the door station away from direct sunlight.
– The image quality may be better if the angle of the door
station is changed.
