    SET UP & USE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Pass the power cord through the channel of pillar and firmly clasp pillar sections together. Fig. 1 Fig. 2 2. Attach the pillars to the fan body, tightening the 6 round head screws provided with the L shaped tool.

Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it out. (fig. 4) 2. Insert 2 “AAA” batteries (not included), making sure that the positive terminals are facing the proper way.

The backlit display will go on automatically when you first plug in the fan and remain on for about five seconds before automatically shutting off. The same thing will happen if you touch any button on the unit or remote control.
