10.1.7 Certificates and approvals
The measuring system meets the legal requirements of the applicable EC guidelines. These are listed
in the corresponding EC Declaration of Conformity together with the standards applied.
Endress+Hauser confirms successful testing of the device by affixing to it the CE mark.

SIL 2, for 4...20 mA output (see SD174F/00/en "Functional safety manual").
Complies with part 15 of the FCC rules for an unintentional radiator. All probes meet the
requirements for a class A digital device (commercial, industrial or business environment). Coax
probes and probes mounted in closed metallic vessels also meet the requirement for a class B digital
device (residential environment).
The European directives and standards applied can be taken from the associated EC Declarations of
Conformity. In addition, the following also applied for Levelflex M:
