Manual Mode
1. Turn your vehicle on to 'WAKE UP' Banks iQ from
'SLEEP' mode.
Note: If Banks iQ does not 'WAKE UP' from 'SLEEP' mode
make sure the USB interface connection is connected
and/or the sliding switch on the left side is slid up to the
'ON' position.
2. In the Safety Environment you will be able to switch between
'MANUAL', 'AUTO' (Automatic) and 'OFF' mode. Press on
the 'Brake' mode button on the lower part of the screen to
toggle to the 'MANUAL' mode.

3. Press on the 'UP'
arrow to increase the brake force or

the 'DOWN'
arrow to decrease the force on the right side
of the screen. Brake force will be displayed in-between the

'UP'
and 'DOWN'
arrows.
4. Press the 'WRENCH'
icon to open the 'ADjUSTMENTS'
menu to customize the functionality of Banks iQ or press
the 'BANKS iQ HOME'
'ENviRONMENT SELECT' menu on the lower left of the
iQ screen.

consult the Banks iQ Owner's Manual.
Caution: using the HiGH setting with a lightly loaded
vehicle will result in VERY aggressive braking activity.
Become familiar with the characteristics of the Strength
settings before encountering slippery road conditions
(i.e. snow or rain).

how to switch from tuner to speed brake?
To switch from the Banks tuner to the SpeedBrake, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Banks tuner inside the cab.
2. Disconnect the 24-pin grommet on the firewall.
3. Connect the factory 24-pin connectors to the Banks tuner or SpeedBrake harness.
4. Ensure the SpeedBrake wire harness is properly routed through the firewall grommet into the cab.
5. Insert the male 24-pin connector on the SpeedBrake harness into the female 24-pin connector on the factory harness or Banks tuner.
6. Insert the female 24-pin connector on the SpeedBrake harness onto the male 24-pin connector of the factory harness or Banks tuner.
7. Position the SpeedBrake module on top of the fuse box and secure it using the provided fasteners.
This setup allows the SpeedBrake to function properly without affecting the performance of the Banks tuner.
