  • Page 2 FEATURES OF THE RUSSELL HOBBS TOWER FAN  The Russell Hobbs Tower Fan has 3 speed settings to suit any cooling requirement.  The 90˚ oscillation function ensures that the whole room is cooled.

    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: Please read these instructions carefully before using this appliance. Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.
  • Page 4 Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord to disconnect the appliance from the mains. Always unplug the unit when not in use, before cleaning or when adding or removing parts. The use of accessory attachments that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer may result in injuries, fire or electric shock.

Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination, adjustment or repair. Always insist on the use of original spare parts.     ASSEMBLING YOUR FAN Lay the fan down, with the front grill and control panel facing up. Assemble the base of the fan by interlocking the guides on base A with base B, ensuring the power cord is threaded through the large hole in the centre of the bases.

    Check that all screws are secured tightly, and place the fan on its base. The Tower Fan is now ready for use. REMOTE CONTROL: This Fan may be operated by manual controls located at the top of the unit or by Remote Control. The functions on the remote control are identical to those on the Control panel.
