Copy features on the control panel
Item
Prints an image without its background. This copy
feature removes the background color and can be
helpful when copying an original containing color in
the background, such as a newspaper or a catalog.
• Off: Does not use this feature.
Adjust Background
• Auto: Optimizes the background.
• Enhance Lev.1~2: The higher the number is, the
more vivid the background is.
• Erase Lev.1~4: The higher the number is, the lighter
the background is.

Copy Setup
Some menus may not appear in the display depending on options or
models. If so, it is not applicable to your machine (see "Copy Setup Menu"
on page 23).
To change the menu options:
Press
(copy) >
(Menu) > Copy Setup on the control panel.
Or
(Menu) > Copy Setup on the control panel.

The copy options can be set to those most frequently
