Troubleshooting

Problem
No steam is produced even about
1 minute or more after the power is
turned on.
The way the steam is emitted fluctuates.
The steam has stopped.
The amount of steam has decreased.
• While the steam is being produced, its
color gets lighter and it is hard to see.
• There are hot water droplets flying
out with the steam.
There is a gurgling sound while the
steam is being is produced.

Possible cause
The power plug or appliance plug is not
plugged all the way in.
There is no water in the water supply tank.
The steamer is not on a level surface.
The steamer is tilted.
The lid is off.
The way the steam is emitted is not constant and
may fluctuate somewhat, but this is not a problem.
The steamer is being affected by the wind
from an air-conditioner, etc.
There is no more water in the water supply tank.
There are calcium carbonate or limescale
deposits inside the steamer.
You are using something else mixed in with
the water.
This is the sound of the water boiling inside
the steamer. It is not a problem.
Action
Plug the power plug and appliance
plug securely all the way in.
Let the steamer cool down for at least
10 minutes, then supply water. (See
page 10.)
Place the steamer on a desk or other
flat surface.
Attach the lid. (See page 15.)
Move the steamer to a place where it
will not be affected.
Let the steamer cool down for at least
10 minutes, then supply water. (See
page 10.)
Contact an authorized service center
for repair.
Let the steamer cool down for at least
10 minutes, then clean the inside of
the steamer. (See page 14.)
