Troubleshooting

Problem
The steamer does not turn on.
The power plug is abnormally hot.
No steam is produced even about
1 minute or more after the power is
turned on.
The way the steam is emitted
fluctuates.
The steam has stopped.
The amount of steam has decreased.

Possible cause
The power switch is not pushed firmly.
The power plug or appliance plug is not
plugged all the way in.
The power plug is not firmly inserted into the outlet.
There is no water in the water supply tank.
The steamer is not on a level surface.
The steamer is tilted.
Low water level in the water supply tank.
The steamer is being affected by the wind
from an air-conditioner, etc.
The way the steam is emitted is not constant
and may fluctuate somewhat, but this is not a
problem.
There is no more water in the water supply
tank.
There are calcium carbonate or limescale
deposits inside the steamer.
Action
Push the power switch firmly.
Plug the power plug and appliance
plug securely all the way in.
Use an outlet in which the power plug
fits snugly.
Let the steamer cool down for at least
10 minutes, then supply water. (See
page 12.)
Place the steamer on a desk or other
flat surface.
Supply water. (See page 12.)
Move the steamer to a place where it
will not be affected.
Let the steamer cool down for at least
10 minutes, then supply water. (See

Contact an authorized service center
for repair.
