3.3 Using the hand brakes/running brake
1. Pull both brakes upwards to brake.
Using the parking brake
1. To apply the parking brakes, press the brake handles carefully
downwards. An audible sound indicates that the brake is in
the correct position.
IMPORTANT!
– Make sure that both brakes are put into parking
position.
2. To release the brakes, pull the brake handles upwards.

Adjusting the braking effect
For desirable braking strength, adjust the brake wire.
The wire can be adjusted in two places - above under the brake
handle (C/D) or below above the brake clamp(A/B). The brake handle
must be in neutral position. Suitable tools: 8mm and 10mm spanner
(not included)
Adjusting below above the brake clamp:
1 a. Loosen the locking nut B and turn the hexagon nipple A counter clockwise in
order to increase the braking effect. The distance between the brake clamp and
the wheel should be 2mm
2 a. Tighten the locking nut B again to fixate the new adjustment.
Adjusting above under the brake handle:
1 b. Loosen the knurled wheel D and turn the knurled wheel C counter clockwise
in order to increase the braking effect. If the adjustment at the brake handle is
not made easy to operate, a pliers is needed to do this adjustment. (Pliers is not
included). The distance between the brake clamp and the wheel should be 2mm.
2 b. Tighten the knurled locking wheel D again to fixate the new adjustment.

Check the braking effect by engaging the parking brake and check that the
wheel can´t rotate.
WARNING!
– Make sure to tighten the lock nuts and the knurled
wheel D after adjustment.
