TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Engine will not start.
Engine runs rough,
floods during operation.
Engine is hard to start.
Engine skips or lacks
power.
Possible cause
Power switch is off.
Spark plug cap is disconnected. Connect spark plug cap to
Out of fuel.
Spark plug wet, faulty, or
improperly gapped.
Throttle control not held wide
open.
Fuel line hose not positioned in
bottom of fuel tank.
Dirty air filter.
Choke partially engaged.
Carburettor out of adjustment.
Stale fuel.
Spark plug cap is loose.
Dirty carburettor.
Throttle control not held wide
open.
Clogged fuel tank.
Clogged air filter.
Carburettor out of adjustment
or damaged.
Spark plug wet, faulty, or
improperly gapped.
Solution
Flip switch to on position.
spark plug.
Refuel.
Clean, replace or gap spark
plug.
Hold throttle control wide
open when pulling recoil
handle.
Push fuel line down into fuel in
the fuel tank.
Clean or replace air filter.
Turn off the choke.
Contact Kogan.com
Drain old fuel and replace with
fresh fuel. Use fuel stabiliser at
the end of the season.
Make sure the spark plug cap
is securely attached to the
spark plug.
Clean the carburettor, use fuel
stabiliser, and use a new fuel
can.
Prime the unit 3 more times,
then hold the throttle wide
open when pulling the recoil
handle.
Remove and clean.
Clean or replace.
