Adding or Replacing a SCSI Card
Removing the Top Cover
To release the cover, loosen the two thumbscrews on the rear of the server.

Slide the cover back from the rear of the server, lift it off, then set it aside.

Adding or Replacing a SCSI Card
Remove the PCI retention clip on the rear of the chassis.

Depending on whether you're adding or replacing a SCSI card:

If you are adding a SCSI card, remove the slot cover on the chassis where the

SCSI card will be located.
If you are replacing a SCSI card, remove the old card from the slot.

Fit the new card into the PCI slot, snapping it securely in place.

Replace the PCI retention clip.
