The AiDEX CGMS has a comprehensive safety sys-
tem to check if abnormal situations require immediate
attention. The system will send notification alarms
using sound, LEDs, or vibrations as well as provide
information on the PDA display.

The AiDEX CGMS only contains medium and low
priority alarms – no high priority alarms (as defined by
ISO standards).
The low priority prompt message may be a physio-
logical status alarm message (hyperglycemia alert)
or a technical alarm/message. When such an alarm
is triggered, it will not have a negative impact on the
user immediately, but the user needs to pay attention
to such information and make decisions to restore
the blood sugar to the normal range or ensure the
real-time continuous glucose monitoring system con-
tinues to be reliable.
