    Use care not to cut upholstery or scratch chair with sharp tools.  NOTE Any shipping damage should be documented and reported immediately to the carrier or JEDMED. The S-II Plus Chair may only be shipped in an upright position and carefully secured.

No on-site assembly is required other than mounting base to the floor for additional security, as desired. WARNING For maximum protection, securely fasten lift base to floor to prevent accidental tipping.

    IDENTIFICATION / OPERATION ROTATION LOCK The S-II Plus Chair can rotate a maximum of 350ֹ ° . Internal stops limit excess rotation and prevent damage to electrical connections. The rotation lock prevents the chair frame from rotating on base. Engagement levers are located on either side of the chair, under the seat.

    S-II Plus Chair Operating / Service Manual CLEANING AND DISINFECTING WARNING Always unplug unit from main power outlet before cleaning, disinfecting, maintenance, or service. Chairs should be cleaned and disinfected before initial use and between each patient. Cleaning Chair frame, upholstery and base may be wiped clean using a soft cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent.

    Scheduled Maintenance The S-II Plus Chair should be cycled fully up and down 8-10 times every 60 days. Even if a chair is used regularly, often the working height is within a limited range. Cycling the chair through its entire range will insure proper lubrication of the hydraulic piston and seals, thus maximizing the life of the base.

    Testing Electrical Safety Electrical safety must be checked, as needed, periodically, to assure continued safety. JEDMED recommends checking at least once every six (6) months or as needed. Visual Inspection Remove plastic covers on the base unit and the back section. Check all cables for damage. If a cable is defective, replace before the inspection is continued.
