EMD Installation and operating manual

Electrical wiring:

Fully disconnect power from EMD before opening the cover of electronic compartment.

Please ensure that the installation is carried out according to valid regulations.

Power Connection Cable
Make sure that all wires are fitted into
terminals firmly!
Provide means for full disconnection of electric
power from EMD.
Do not connect EMD after protection device of heavy inductive load like compressor motor (left).
Instead, heavy inductive load and EMD should be protected separately (right).

After installation or maintenance work, press the test button to drain all condensed water
which has meanwhile collected in the compressed air system.

Oil resistant insulation recomended
Wires should be equipped with appropriate
ferrules. Make sure, that all strands of a wire are
fitted inside the ferrule.
