The Reliable MAVEN 140IS has an auto-off function for safety. If the auto shut-off is not working, possible issues could include:

1. Power or Electrical Issue – Ensure the iron is properly plugged in and receiving power.
2. Faulty Sensor or Internal Component – A malfunctioning sensor may prevent the auto shut-off from activating.
3. Software or Reset Needed – Try unplugging the iron for a few minutes and restarting it.
4. User Error – Confirm that the iron is being left idle long enough for the auto-off feature to engage.
5. Defective Unit – If none of the above resolves the issue, the iron may need servicing or replacement under the one-year warranty.
