LOCKING/UNLOCKING THE DOORS
Card or key fault
In
some
cases,
key/radiofrequency remote control
and the RENAULT Card may not
work:
- vehicle located in a zone of high
electromagnetic radiation,
- use of appliances operating on the
same frequency as the card
(mobile phone, etc.);
- drain on the RENAULT Card
battery, flat battery, etc.
With the engine stopped and a front
door open, press and hold down
switch 7 for more than five seconds.
When the door is closed, all the
doors and tailgate will be locked.
It will only be possible to unlock the
vehicle from the outside using the
key, the RENAULT Card or the
emergency key.
Note: make sure that you have your
key and RENAULT Card with you
before you leave the vehicle

It controls the doors, the tailgate
and
the
fuel
simultaneously.
If a door is open or not properly
closed, the doors lock and then
quickly unlock.
In some instances it may be
necessary to lock the vehicle with
one of the doors open, (e.g.
transporting an object with the
tailgate open). In this case stop the
engine and switch off the ignition;
pressing and holding down button 7
will lock all the doors.

The indicator light integrated in
switch 7 shows whether or not the
doors and tailgate are locked:
- the light is on when the doors are
locked;
- the light goes out when the doors
are unlocked.
When you lock the doors, the
indicator light remains lit for
approximately one minute then

goes out.

If you decide to keep the doors
locked whilst driving, remember
that it may be more difficult for
those assisting you to gain access
to your vehicle in the event of an
emergency.
