Using the Timer as a Minute Minder
1. Make sure the cooktop is turned on, and the heating zone
selection key is not activated (Timer and power level indicators display "-")
Note: You can also set the minute minder whilst the cooking zone is on as long as the
power level indicator is not blinking.
2. Touch the timer key, "00" will show in the timer display
and "0" will blink.
3. Set the time by touching the "Slider" control (e.g. 5)
4. Touch timer key again, then "0" will blink.
5. Set the time by touching the "Slider" control (e.g. 9)
6. Touch the timer key again.
Now the timer is set for 95 minutes.
7. When the time is set, it will begin to count down immediately.
The display will show the remaining time.
8. When the time has expired, the timer will sound for 30
seconds and the timer indicator will show "- - "

Using the timer to switch off one or more cooking zones
1. Select the heating zone that you wish to set the timer for.
2. Touch the timer key, "00" will show in the timer display
and the "0" will blink.
3. Set the time by touching the "slider" control (e.g. 5)
4. Touch the timer key again, then "0" will blink.
5. Set the time by touching the "slider" control (e.g.9)
6. Touch the timer key again.
Now the timer is set for 95 minutes
7. When the time is set, it will begin to count down immediately. The display will show
the remaining time.
Note: There will be a red dot in the right bottom corner of the
power level indicator which shows the timer is set for that zone.
8. When the set time expires, the corresponding cooking zone
will switch off automatically.
Note: Other cooking zones will keep operating if they were turned on previously.
