6.3. Touch the power tool to the workpiece after you have turned it on. Otherwise, there is a risk of a kickback occurring if
the blade is curled into the workpiece.
6.4. During cutting, be careful that the base plate contacts the workpiece steadily over its entire surface. If the cutting edge
curls, it may cause the cutting blade to break.
6.5. When the cutting is completed, wait for the jig saw to stop. Then remove it from the cut. This avoids the risk of kickback
and you can safely leave the power tool on the work surface.
6.6. Only use blades in flawless condition. Bent or blunted cutting discs may break or cause a kickback.
6.7. Once the jig saw is switched off, do not stop the cutting blade by compressing it. The cutting sheet may be damaged,
broken or cause a kickback.
6.8. Use suitable utensils to find any hidden under-pipe pipelines or contact your local supply company. Contact with live
wires may cause fire and electric shock. Damage to a gas pipeline may lead to an explosion. Damage to the water mains results
in major material damage and may cause electric shock.
6.9. Provide the machined detail. A detail gripped with suitable fittings or clamps is locked more firmly and secure than if
you hold it by hand.
6.10. Before leaving the jig saw, wait for the rotation to stop completely. Otherwise, the working tool used may touch another
object and cause uncontrolled movement of the power tool. Do not use the jig saw when the power cord is damaged. If the
cable is damaged during operation, do not touch it. Immediately disconnect the plug from the socket. Damaged power cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
7. Purpose of the jig saw. This type of power tools is widely used for cutting wood, wood-like materials, as well as synthetic
materials and metals. Areas of use include repair, construction, carpentry and any other work related to independent amateur
activity.
8. Operation with the machine
Battery and charger information.
The jig saw isn't supplied with a battery and charger. Use only battery and charger from the R20 System series.
To start the tool, just pull the trigger on the switch. The tool speed increases with increasing the pressure on the switch
trigger Release the trigger of the stop switch. For uninterrupted operation, pull the trigger on the switch, press the lock button,
and then release the trigger of the switch. To stop the tool from the locked position, pull the trigger on the switch completely,
then release it.
ATTENTION: Always clean all chips or foreign bodies that are attached to the blade and / or the blade holder. Failure to
comply with this requirement may result in insufficient blade clamping, resulting in serious injuries.
CAUTION: Do not touch the tool or workpiece blades immediately after work. They can be extremely hot and burn your
skin.
WARNING: Always fix the hard disk drive. Insufficient tightening of the blade may result in breakage of the blade or serious
bodily injury.
WARNING: Use Raider blades for a "T" shank saw. Use of blades other than this type causes insufficient blade clamping,
resulting in serious injuries.Information about radiated noise and vibrations.
The values are measured according to EN 60745. The noise level A is usually: sound pressure level LpA 97.6 dB (A);
sound power LwA 108.6 dB (A). Uncertainty K = 3 dB. Work with silencers! The full vibration value (the vector sum in the three
directions) is determined according to EN 60745: Cutting of wood: generated vibrations ah = 6.60 m / s2, uncertainty K = 1.5 m
/ s2, Cutting of metal: / s2, uncertainty K = 1,5 m / s2. The specified vibration level is representative of the most common power
tool applications. However, if the punch is used for other activities, with other work tools or if it is not maintained as prescribed,
the level of vibration generated may change. This could significantly increase the cumulative vibration load in the process.
