Wash Cycle Selections
Note: Cycle times are approximate.
Cycle Description
Pots & For pots, pans,
casseroles, and
Pans*
dinnerware with
dried-on or baked-
on soils.
Heavy For heavily soiled
Wash dishes and
silverware.
Normal For regularly soiled
Wash dishes and
silverware.
Short For lightly soiled or
Wash pre-rinsed dishes
and silverware.
Rinse/ For rinsing dishes
Hold that will be washed
later.

Energy Options
Heat Dry Option
The HEAT DRY ON option will provide faster
drying since the heating element is on during
the drying portion of cycle.
HEAT DRY OFF option saves electricity since
heating element is off during the drying portion
of cycle. To speed the drying process, open
the door slightly after the cycle is complete.
Some water droplets may remain on door and
tub and in areas where dishes touch
silverware basket or rack.

automatic water heating in the
main wash if the water is not hot

• Turn dial to NORMAL WASH.

With either option, you may see water vapor
coming from the vent during the drying portion
of the cycle. The vent is closed during washing
to hold moisture and sound inside and then
opens for drying.
The drying option may be changed at any time
during the cycle and affects only the drying
period.
