Before Use; Height Adjustment - aidapt VP155JK Usage And Maintenance Instructions

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Extendable Plastic Handled Walking Stick
from Aidapt. These Walking Sticks are manufactured from the finest materials and
components available, when used correctly they are designed to give many years
of reliable trouble-free service.
The above Walking Sticks are height adjustable, with 5 height settings via a push
button mechanism, a slip resistant rubber foot and convenient, integrated hanging
strap.
IMPORTANT!
The user weight limit for this product is 100 kg (15 stone).
NB. DO NOT exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put the user at
risk.

BEFORE USE

Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of other sharp instruments
as this may damage the surface of the walking stick.
Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault,
do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

1. Grip stick shaft with one hand whilst pushing the metal locking pin down
with the other hand so the locking pin retracts fully into the shaft.
2. Select required height by adjusting the top section of the shaft in an
upwards or downwards motion and release the metal locking pin in front
of the required hole position.
3. Prior to use always ensure that the locking pin fully protrudes from the
selected hole position and by applying downward pressure on the handle
of the walking stick test that the walking stick has been assembled
correctly.
CLEANING
Clean your Walking Stick using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft
cloth. Abrasive cleaners and/ or abrasive cleaning pads may seriously damage the
product beyond repair and should not be used. Always ensure that you wipe dry
the equipment after cleaning.
