Thermostat and Rain Sensor

The fan is equipped with a built-in thermostat Set
the fan to auto and select your comfort setting on the
Multiplex main touch control panel and the fan will

Furnace and Water Heater

The Alde central heating and hot water boiler is a
hydronic system that works by circulating hot glycol
fluid through pipes while convectors located along the
outer walls heat the air As the hot air rises it heats the
walls and surrounding furniture When the warm air
reaches the ceiling it circulates back down to the floor
and is reheated by the convectors The built-in water
heater automatically adjusts its power output to match
demand to ensure maximum efficiency operating on
either LPG, 120V or both The compact design allows
for all connections to be located on the front of the
boiler which allows for easy access and maximizes
usable space
Both LP Gas and electric heating use hot glycol fluid to
heat the space in the RV In order to achieve the best
possible results from convected heat, it is important to
allow air to circulate freely Ensure that the air supply to
the convectors is not obstructed in any way It is just as
important that cushions or blankets do not interrupt the
flow of air behind backrests and wall cabinets.
Refer to Section 8 - Maintenance for location and
information on filling the expansion tank.
The heating system must be filled with a mixture
of water and glycol. Use only high quality ready-
mixed Propylene glycol (with inhibitor) intended
for use in aluminum heating systems. The glycol
must carry the label GRAS (generally recognized
as safe). Alde recommends only using ALDE brand
glycol specifically formulated for the Alde heating
system.

Shower Boost Mode

Before taking a shower it is recommended the "boost"
function be activated 10 minutes prior This can be
done by pressing the
from the Alde control panels "menu" screen Turning
ON the boost function will temporarily suspend heat
to the trailer and raise the water temperature After 30
minutes the system automatically returns to normal
operation Boost mode can be canceled and the
system returned to normal operation before the 30
minute run time by pressing the
