Important: Refer to your Engine Operator's Manual for additional maintenance procedures.
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidently start the engine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition and disconnect the wire from the spark plug(s) before you do any
maintenance. Set the wire aside so that it does not accidentally contact the spark plug.

• Check for any loose fasteners and tighten them.
• Change the engine oil.
• Tighten the wheel lug nuts.
• Check the hydraulic fluid.
• Change the hydraulic filters and oil.
• Check the safety system.
• Check the engine oil level.
• Clean the air intake screen.
• Check the brake.
• Check the mower blades.
• Clean the mower deck.
• Clean foam air cleaner element. (more often in dirty or dusty conditions)
• Check the paper air cleaner element. (more often in dirty or dusty conditions)
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check pump drive belt.
• Check the hydraulic fluid.
• Change the engine oil. (more often in dirty or dusty conditions)
• Check the spark plugs.
• Check and clean engine cooling fins and shrouds.
• Inspect all belts for cracks and wear.
• Lubricate the machine with light oil
• Replace the paper air cleaner element.
• Replace the oil filter
• Replace the fuel filter.
• Adjust the caster pivot bearing.
• Grease the front caster pivots (more often in dirty or dusty conditions)
