4 Replace the toner cartridge or the drum unit.
For more information on how to replace the consumable items, see the instructions included with the drum
unit for replacing the drum unit or see the instructions printed on the box of the toner cartridge for replacing
the toner cartridge.
5 Clean the inside of the machine.
 Cleaning the corona wire in the toner cartridge
Slide the green tab from left to right and right to left several times.
NOTE
Be sure to return the tab to the home position (a) (1). If you do not, printed pages may have a vertical stripe.
 Clean the drum unit if black or white dots appear on printed pages
Push down the lock lever on the drum unit and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
