8.2.3 Media Feed Problems

Problem
The sheet was not fed.
The sheet is wrinkled.
A multifeed occurs.
This may cause missing print or
paper jams.
Cause
The sheet is too thick.
The sheet is not loaded correctly.
The sheet is curled.
The Separation Roller is dirty.
Sheets of different sizes are loaded at
the same time.
The sheet is not loaded correctly.
The sheet is too thin.
Simultaneous transferring onto multiple
sheets is not supported.
Too many sheets are loaded on the
Extendable Feed Tray Flap.
The Separation Roller is dirty.
Sheets of different sizes are loaded at

Reposition the top edge of the sheet and
try again.
Uncurl the sheet and try again.
Clean the Separation Roller.

Straighten the sheet using the Paper
Guides.
Do not use media of the weight less than
