ANCHOR INSTALLATION: NEW CONSTRUCTION
For new construction a footing should be poured according to the diagram below.
Again, make sure the anchor is installed flush and plumb with the deck surface.
Again, the footing should have the following specifications:
4. MINIMUM FOOTING SIZE: 3' - 3" x 3' - 3" x 10" THICK.
5. MINIMUM CONCRETE STRENGTH: 2500 PSI
6. REINFORCEMENT: #4 REBAR @ 10" ON CENTER (O.C.),
EACH WAY, TOP & BOTTOM
