Function description 7.1 Circulation In cascade mode, the circulation pump is only connected to the FC3.10 controller which should be declared as controller type “Client”. Only the client controller station is switched on during the adjustment process (client cascade valve = ON). The cascade valves of the server are closed.
Page 36
REMKO EFS series Time control operating mode Request operating mode There are two options for adjusting the circulation If a water valve is opened for a few seconds (max. pump is the Time control menu item: 5 s) and closed again, the volume flow probe detects this dispensing pulse.

REMKO EFS series 7.7 Parallel relay The “parallel relay” function is used to switch to an additional relay. For which events the parallel relay is switched can be selected. Example: The R2 parallel relay is selected for the primary pump. The R2 relay is always switched when the controller sends a signal to the primary pump.
Probe 2, probe 3 Relay selection Selection of the relay Relay 1, relay 2 External reheating via a REMKO heat pump is not possible. Reheating the storage tank is requested for the heat pumps via the assigned probe, e.g. heat pump probe S08.

Fig. 4: Dismantling the controller Proceed with installation as follows: Remove the white front panel from the controller. The strain relief must also be removed in the next step. Then the VFS/US probe lines, the PWM signals and the temperature probes must be removed from the conductor board plug connections.
Page 46
REMKO EFS series Remove the strain relief at the 230 V level. Now, the cascade valve must be connected to the relay 1 output. If a 3-way valve must also be connected for improved stratification in the storage tank (return flow stratification), use relay 2 output of server 1.
