Adjusting the LCD Brightness

Select
to adjust the brightness of the screen.
LCD
LCD Setting
LCD brightness:
Dark
Use the left or right button to adjust the LCD screen
brightness. Press OK to apply the setting and return to the
previous screen.
Press l or r on the arrow button to select the brightness
level.

Turning the Sound On or Off

Select
to turn on or off the beeping sound the
Sound
P-1000 makes when performing certain operations.
Sound Setting
Sound:
ON
Press OK to apply the Sound setting and return to the previous
screen. Press Cancel to disregard the change.
Bright
OFF

Setting the Power Save Options

The Power Save options conserve battery power by turning
off the screen backlight and turning off the power after a set
interval of inactivity. Select
time-out periods. You see this menu:

Auto backlight control duration:

1 min
5 min

Auto power off duration:

1 min
The LCD screen goes dark when Photo Viewer is idle for this
period of time. Press OK to apply the setting and return to the
previous screen.
Auto backlight control duration
This option determines the length of time after which the
LCD's backlight is turned off if there is no activity. Press
l or r on the arrow button to move the slidebar from
1 minute to 5 minutes. The default setting is 3 minutes.
Auto power off duration
Press l or r on the arrow button to select the number of
minutes (from 1 to 10) before the power is shut off
automatically if there is no activity. The default setting is
5 minutes.
