Protective ground
A PELV circuit contains a connection to protective ground. Without a connection to protective
ground, or in case there is a fault in the connection to the protective ground, the voltage for the
circuit is not stabilized (limited).

The "Limited Energy" circuit and other circuits must be separated by at least basic insulation.
Grounding
Danger to life from overvoltage, fire hazard
When using outdoor antennas, the shared or grounded pin of the circuit must be connected to
the shield of the coaxial cable and to all touchable conductive parts and circuits. Otherwise,
there may be impermissibly high voltages on touchable parts in the event of a fault.
