Engaging the Scarifier

When the scarifier engine is turned on, the roller
begins to rotate.
Slowly move the transport lever all the way forward to
lower the roller into the ground (Figure 14).
Note:
If the scarifier does not penetrate the ground at
the desired depth, adjust the max depth of cut; refer
to Adjusting the Maximum Depth of Cut (page 10).

PERATING
When you are finished scarifying, move the transport
lever all the way back toward you into the transport
position and release the blade-control bar to shut off
the machine.
