Macintosh System Requirements

To use your printer and its software, your system should have:

An Apple

Mac OS 8.5.1 through 9.1 (Mac OS 9.1 recommended; for information on OS X support, go to
http://support.epson.com)
32MB of available RAM (64MB recommended)
100MB of free hard disk space (200MB recommended)
VGA display or better
CD-ROM or DVD drive for installing the printer software
Ethernet network connection: a Category 5 twisted-pair cable with RJ45 connectors to connect
the print server's Ethernet port to your network. If you'll be connecting your computer directly to
the printer, you must use a crossover cable.
USB connection: a USB port and a shielded USB "AB" cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long.

As an ENERGY STAR Partner, EPSON has determined
that this product meets the ENERGY STAR guidelines for
energy efficiency. The EPA ENERGY STAR office
equipment program is a voluntary partnership with the
computer and office equipment industry to promote the
introduction of energy-efficient personal computers,
monitors, printers, fax machines, and copiers in an effort to
reduce air pollution caused by power generation.
