Firing rates

The MAXIMUM OUTPUT is chosen from within the diagram area
(Fig. 2).
The MINIMUM OUTPUT must not be lower than the minimum
limit of the diagram:
RLS 800/M MX = 1750 kW

Test boiler

The burner/boiler combination does not pose any problems if the
boiler is EC approved and its combustion chamber dimensions
are similar to those indicated in the diagram (Fig. 3).
If the burner must be combined with a boiler that has not been EC
approved and/or its combustion chamber dimensions are clearly
smaller than those indicated in the diagram (Fig. 3), consult the
manufacturer.
The firing rates were obtained in special test boilers, according to
EN 676 standard.

MODULATING RATIO
The modulating ratio, obtained in the test boilers, according to the
standard (EN 676 for gas, EN 267 for light oil), is 2.5: 1.

The firing rate value (Fig. 2) has been obtained
considering an ambient temperature of 20 °C, an
atmospheric pressure of 1013 mbar (approx. 0 m
a.s.l.), and with the combustion head adjusted as
shown on page 19.
