Chapter 6 UEFI BIOS

6.7 Boot

Use this tab page to configure Boot Settings.
Boot Mode Select
Use this feature to select the type of devices to be used for system boot. The options are
Legacy, UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface), and Dual.
Fixed Boot Order Priorities
This feature prioritizes the order of a bootable device from which the system will boot from
the top of the list to the bottom. Select each entry choose a boot device. When Boot Mode
Select is set to Legacy or UEFI, only those items are displayed.
 Delete Boot Option
Use this feature to select a boot device to delete from the boot priority list.
Delete Boot Option
Use this feature to remove an EFI boot option from the boot priority list or choose UEFI:
Built-in EFI Shell.
 Delete Driver Option
Use this item to select a boot driver to delete from the boot priority list.
