In case of emergency/Running out of fuel (diesel engine models)
2. After pushing the rear seat release
latch down once, remove the latch.
1) Unlock
2) Lock
3. Using a flat-head screw driver, push
the lever inwards for temporary deactiva-
tion of the rear gate. Running out of fuel (diesel
engine models)
CAUTION
. Do not try to start the engine
before refueling and operating
the priming pump. Doing so
could damage the engine and
fuel system.
. Do not operate the starter motor
for more than 30 seconds total.
Doing so could overheat the
starter motor and discharge the
vehicle battery.
Perform the following procedure to restart
the engine.
1. Refuel your vehicle.
