& Initial illumination for system
check
Several of the warning and indicator lights
illuminate when the ignition switch is
initially turned to the "ON" position. This
permits checking the operation of the
bulbs.
Apply the parking brake and turn the
ignition switch to the "ON" position. For
the system check, the following lights
illuminate and then turn off after several
seconds or after the engine has started.
: Seatbelt warning light
(The driver's seatbelt warning light and
the front passenger's seatbelt warning
light turn off only when each seatbelt is
fastened.)
: SRS airbag system warning light
: Rear seatbelt indicator light (if
equipped)

: Front passenger's frontal airbag
ON indicator light (if equipped)

: Front passenger's frontal airbag
OFF indicator light (if equipped)
: Malfunction indicator light
(Check Engine light)
: Coolant temperature high warning light
