    Tools Needed AUV-3 and ATV-3 NOT SUPPLIED Crescent Wrench or Wide Open Pipe Wrench to tight hex nuts from 1-1/4” to 2”, do not use toothed pipe wrench that can damage the decorative finish of the flush valve Flat screw driver to open/close stop valve, and to adjust water flow Valve is shipped with 4 AAA batteries pre-installed.

    Stop Valve Installation Before the supply water is turned on, make sure all stop valves are closed tight. To close the valve turn adjustment screw clockwise . Solder sweat adapter onto existing copper tube (if needed). Measure and Flange cut sleeve tube (if needed). Slide flange and tube sleeve over pipe.
  • Page 5 Urinal or Toilet Place flush valve on top of vacuum breaker Spud escutcheon tube. Mate valve body with vacuum breaker tube nut Hand tighten both vacuum breaker tube AUV-3 nut and coupling nut (DO NOT CROSS THREADS). MAC FAUCETS LLC.

    Vacuum Breaker Tube Length Measure the length of vacuum breaker tube accurately. If cutting is needed proceed to step 12. If cutting it is needed uninstall and remove the vacuum breaker tube, and make a straight cut. Sand off the sharp edge of the cut. Re-install the vacuum breaker tube to the spud coupling first, and then to the flush valve body.

    Place the flush valve cover back on with sensor facing forward. Refasten Allen screws. DO NOT FORGET PLASTIC WASHERS. The flush valve is ready for use. Red Cable, sensor Black Cable, sensor to solenoid to battery pack. MAC FAUCETS LLC.
